WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Hi, I’m Dr. Naomi owner of Levy Goldman Dentistry. I’d love to tell you the story of how we became what we are today, but first I’d like to thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read our story! So, thank you!
My dad opened the doors of his practice in 1993 with just a handful of patients that followed him from a previous practice. He grew an extremely loyal patient following with his kind and patient nature, his natural way of putting people at ease, and his gentle touch. Patients loved him and they raved about him to their friends and family and the practice really started to grow.
Now let’s fast forward a few years. My mom also worked in the practice as a dental hygienist, and she would pick my brother and I up from school some days and bring us to the office to play in the waiting room until she and my dad were done with work. We must have been 5 or 6 then. I remember I loved being there. I felt like part of the team. When I was 8 years old, I decided I wanted to be an Orthodontist. I saw the lifestyle my parents had, and I thought it seemed great! By age 14 I was working in the practice at the front desk, and I started to really get to know the patients. I learned who their family members were, what their hobbies were, I heard about their life events, and they became like family to me. I continued to work there in the summers until I started dental school. While in school I found my passion for cosmetic dentistry and decided not to go into Orthodontics, but instead to join my father and pursue general dentistry. I started managing the practice pretty much right away and 7 years later we decided it was time for me to buy the practice. So, In January 2022 I became the proud owner of Levy Goldman Dentistry.
Today my dad and I work together in the practice and are the perfect complement to each other. He poured his heart into building it and now I’m pouring mine into growing it. I get to pursue my passion for cosmetics and restorative dentistry while he practices a broad scope of general dentistry.
I know this story was a little long, but I had to tell you all the details to show you where I’m coming from when I say this is not just a job for me, this is a second home for me. I grew up here. I know and love my patients and my entire team. Some of my team members have been here for over 15 years! There are generations of families that come here and patients that have been with us for 30 years. This practice is one of the things in my life I’m most proud of (second only to my family). I love what I do every day and I think that passion shines through to my team, and to my patients.
